Image Editor support

Find help for the browser editor and Image Editor for Windows. Keep your original files and save your work before closing or reloading.
Contact support in the Windows app
Open Image Editor for Windows and choose Feedback in the app navigation to open Contact support. Enter a reply email address and describe what you were trying to do, what happened and the app version if available. Choose Send request to send it. Your email and message go to our support service, PostHog; no files are attached automatically. Do not include private image contents, passwords or access tokens. If sending fails, your fields stay available in the dialog so you can retry.
Opening an image
Use JPEG, PNG, static WebP, GIF, BMP or TIFF. Animation, multiple pages and HEIC/AVIF are not supported. Source images are limited to 32 MiB; decoded image dimensions and device memory also affect whether a file can open. The browser editor also opens supported .loamimage, OpenRaster and PSD projects up to 64 MiB. Layered interchange supports a defined subset and can reject unsupported features. Keep the original if an import fails.
Keeping browser edits
Download an image or save an editable .loamimage project before refreshing or leaving. Back to page and Resume editing keep the current workspace in the same live tab. Reopen original image restores the original input, not unsaved edits. The original may be available for 30 minutes when browser storage works; it is not an automatic backup.
Conversion and download help
The WebP, PNG and JPG conversion pages can process multiple static files, up to 32 MiB each. Wait for a result before downloading it. If an automatic download is blocked, use that result’s Download action and check your browser’s download permissions. JPEG cannot keep transparency: choose and confirm a background. Converting to PNG cannot recover detail lost in JPEG or remove a background. If a conversion exceeds supported precision, use the full editor for supported high-precision work.
Saving in Windows
Save a copy to a destination you can write to and reopen the result to check it. Replacing the original requires opening it through the native file picker; a dropped file opens as an editable copy. A cancelled save leaves your work open. If another application changed the original, save a separate copy rather than overwriting it. Store update checks require a Microsoft Store installation and working Store access.
Help with a browser problem
Keep the tab open while you save any work you need. Check that JavaScript and WebAssembly are available in a current browser. Try a small supported image to distinguish a file limitation from a browser problem. If you also have the Windows app, use its Contact support form and mention the browser, the tool page and the steps that failed. This website does not accept support messages or image attachments.
